Testimonials

Dr Bethan Gulliver
The Serious Fun Group have been running improvisation workshops for our students to help them prepare for their medical interviews for the last three years. Medical interviews often require students to role play and the sessions have concentrated on teaching the improv skills required to role play effectively. The students have very much enjoyed the sessions. Emma and Arianna teach in an enthusiastic manner, the sessions have been full of humour and very enjoyable. My students have reported that they found the sessions very useful when attending their interviews. They have also reported using the techniques that Emma and Arianna taught them to cope with interview stress in other situations.

Susi Pearson
The Serious Fun Group did a series of two-day workshops for the Norwich Institute for Language Education in June/July 2017. These were for Trainee Primary English teachers from Switzerland and focussed on drama for teaching and learning including: improvisation techniques which can develop teaching skills and improvisation games for language learners; using drama to teach across the curriculum, and helping learners to devise and put on a performance. The feedback on the sessions was very positive with the trainees commenting on how much they learnt and the new ideas and activities they gained for their teaching. We would be very happy to employ The Serious Fun Group’s services on future courses.
